These works are not only aesthetically beautiful, they are true. What makes his work so great, so unique? Each piece is made by just one man from a tiny town at the edge of the world, using equipment that are simple and cheap compared to the billion-dollar astronomical instruments that exist around the world and even in space. Surely, they can make shots like these in no time, right? While they technically can, it in fact does not happen, because these eminently useful marvels of astronomical technology have million-dollar budgets controlled by technocrats who will never spend a million-dollar hour just for revealing some cosmic beauty and poetry, that's J-P's job as an artist.

Mahtavat on kyllä nuo systeemit mitä oot rakentanu! Muutamia kuviakin jo ehdin vilkaista, täytyy kattella vielä tarkemmin läpi noita.

Dear Metsavainnio,
I am interested to know more about your setup, since I am now ordering QHY8 from Dr. Qiu.
I am also considering Starlight Xpress AOX and Lodstar guider.
What kind of guiding software do you use when guiding through AOX and Lodstar guider ?
Is it difficult to find and locate a guidestar through the off-axis guider attached to AOX ?
Is Lodstar guider sensitive enough to guide on faint stars due to the small prism ?
