IC 1396 in H-alpha & OIII light

The home of the famous "Elephants Trunk" Nebula, IC1396is an active
starformation area in Cepheus. After the Veil Nebula I shot 6x1200s trough H-alpha filter and then 3x1200s trough OIII filter. My goal is shoot SII channel as soon as possible and makea narrowband three color image. The Green channel is synthesized from O-III and H-alpha.
Imaging data:
Camera, QHY8
Filters,
Baader 7nm H-alpha and Baader 8,5nm O-III
Optics,
Tokina AT-X 300mm @ f2.8
Exposures,
7X 1200s H-alpha 8 X 1200 O-III + flats and bias - Guiding, LX200 GPS 12" + PHD-guiding and Lodestar

IC1396 in narrowband colors

Last night I shot S-II (Sulfur) channel for this nebula.
I previously shot H-alpha (Hydrogen) and O-II (Oxygen), you can see the image,
if you scroll few posts down.
This is a narrowband color composition with mentioned three pands.
Sulfur=Red, Hydrogen=Green and Oxygen=Blue

Stereo Image Pair of Veil Nebula

Parallel Vision Version Cross Vision Version
- "True" nature of exploded stae can be seen in stereogram. Material has spred to the Space as a ball shape formation. Viewing instructions can be found on the right hand side menu.

Veil nebula in differen palettes, without stars.

Red=Ha, Blue=OIII with synt. Green Hubble palette, SII=Red, Ha=Green and OIII=Blue Ha alone
-
This is a test image serie.
In my narrowband technique one processing step is a star removal.
When seen without stars, the nebulosity has a better chance to show up.
