Hi j-p
can you give me you feedback on the qhy9m ofter years of using
sami
Hi,
I have been using the QHY9 to all my imges after a 2008. You can find all my image posts from here: http://www.astroanarchy.blogspot.fi/search/label/nebula
Just clkick "older posts" for more.
QHY9 is a well made instrument and it has a very popular KAF8300 chip. There are no problems with frost/dew since the CCD-champber is sealed and there is a small heater in a front window. Software is mature and has no bugs. It's using a ASCOM drivers, so you need to download a latest ASCOM platform to your computer, it's free. I think, the price/quality is very good with this product. I have nothing to complain.
I recomend to buy a QHY filterwheel or a filter drawer with the camera. It does work with many third party filter wheels as well though.
Best regards,
