Good Morning, I'm the picture editor of Ciel et Espace Monthly - The french astronomical monthly. I saw your APOD picture today. I went on your website and here we are very impress by your pictures. If we would like to make a portfolio with your pictures, are you agree? I'm in charge too of the Ciel et Espace Photos agency. If you are interested by a distribution by our agency, I could send you a agreement proposal. Have a look to our web site : www.cieletespacephotos.fr. Best regards

could you comment on the accuracy of guiding required for shooting at 300mm focal length for 20-30min like you seem to do? Does it absolutely require autoguiding?
andyw, the guiding is very much needed here. Depending resolution of imaging camera and given focal lenght, it's easy to calculate pixels/archsecond. In my case it's about 5pix/". So unless you have a very good mount, some guiding is needed for maximal sharpness.

I'm a Finnish astronomical photographer and I'm enjoying to be able to reveal, even a small part of, the hidden beauty of our Universe.
Astro photographing is a mixture of technique, art and science and it's difficult enough to keep me interested.
I hope you enjoy my images!
